Well we have had an amazing past season, thank you to all the wonderful people who shared this beautiful slice of the country with us.

It was lovely to meet you all and share our river experiences with you. To see the excitement, hear the stories and make new friends reinforces that we have one of the most amazing jobs in the world.

To all our past clients who have had the challenge of rafting the Mitta and would now like to take it to the next level, we are scheduling our Murray Gates 2 day experiences starting in August, call us to reserve your places and get the numbers together.

For all of our new clients who are keen on giving the river a first attempt, new bookings for the season will start in June/July.

Till then we wish you well and look forward to seeing you on the river.

As you will see below, he has pointed out something that as a tour operator you don’t really thing about!  We know that we have the goods to give you a good time but how do we tell you that without blowing our own horn!! ha

He has suggested – that we get listed on Tripadvisor and encourage people who have a good time to add their own review as it’s a great way for travelers to know if a website is backed by a professional firm such as yours, or just has a really good web designer and not much else.

We had a great time yesterday and I hope the girls have fun at the front of the boat today. Definitely keen to get another group together some time.

I tried to add a review on Trip Advisor, as we have done for a few great attractions we have used in the past. I found i have to request that Rafting Australia be added to Trip Advisor so I can add our review so they may contact you by email in the next week.

If you get added you might want to encourage people who have a good time to add their own review as it’s a great way for travelers to know if a website is backed by a professional firm such as yours, or just has a really good web designer and not much else. Aim not on commission!

When I first moved to Melbourne and was working in the corporate world of property, I was approached by a man with a crazed look in his eye… he grabbed my hand and gave it a good strong shake….his words which I didn’t quite understand at the time were…good on ya love, good to see your wearing ya teams color’s go the black and white!!

I must admit that I went back to work rather confused and explained this to my work colleagues…As it turned out, a big match was on and I was wearing a black and white suit with a black and white flower…this made me a honorary Magpie member for a few minutes!!

Anyway as I mentioned, yes the team came along and went one for one with our guides in the sports rafts on the Upper Murray River. You’ll be happy to hear that there were no injuries and that the day turned out to be quite memorable. Linton said that he had never met a more professional group of young men and although he is a diehard Richmond supporter, he now has soft spot for Collingwood.  (This is even after Mr Malthouse hit him in the head with a paddle) ha

To give you an idea of the website process-

1. Contact an amazing team of super intelligent web builders/designers/coffee lovers at Eleven Media.

2. Demand that they come on a rafting trip (Trip date still not confirmed!!) think they are pretty boys who don’t want to get hair messed up…ha ha

3. Ask for super magical powers to make everyone in Australia have visions of what a wonderful river we have right in our own back yard or use photos and video on the new website to show them!

4. Make sure you send the web builders information, photos and money????

5. Try and remember to use spell check when you pretend you know what you are doing when you update the new website and not  rave on too much about how wonderful your trips are and the guys at Eleven media and how much you appreciate your guides and love the river….oops sorry did it again.

Once this is all done 6. Enjoy meeting all the new and wonderful clients booking for and experience of a life time.
